Last Sunday it was time for the fourth race in the Ski Classics 2012. Tartu Marathon in Estonia, 63 km along a slightly undulating and beautiful path. It’s a classic race between the World Cup city Otepää and Elva.
Jørgen Aukland finished at seventh place with time 02:43:36.1. He is now at an overall second place so far in the tournament, while his team Team Xtra Personell are on top among the competing teams.

This Sunday the Ski Classics-race König Ludwig Lauf took place. Jörgen Aukland placed third in the race for Team Xtra Personel. In front of him was teammate Jerry Ahrlin.

Success in Marcialonga, congratulations Jörgen! 2012-01-30
The last three kilometres to the finish is one long uphill climb. When Jörgen Aukland, Anders Aukland and Jerry Ahrlin stumbled uphill climb to the finish in Cavalese, the other could not keep up. It looked to be a triple for the Norwegian team X-tra Personnel, but Ahrlin finally had to give in for the Czech Stanislav Rezac and finished fourth. Congratulations!
New challenges after the third place in the Czech Republic 2012-01-19
After the race in the Czech Republic, I’ve rested a few days to get back in shape. I am very happy with third place in Jizerska. I will spend the coming weeks training and preparing myself for the biggest race this winter, marcialonga on January 29. Before that, I will participate in the Scandinavian Cup to get a hard body work out. After Marcialonga the team will stay in Italy to participate in Konig Ludviglauf on 5 February.

Ski Classic 2012 started with a third place in The Czech Republics Jizerska Padesatka. 2012-01-09
Sunday, January 8 the long distance cross-country ski cup Ski Classics started in the Czech Republic with Jizerska Padesatka. 50km of classic skiing in the rugged terrain around the Czech Bedrichov. The weather conditions were not good, but the skiing and the surroundings were beautiful.
Jorgen Aukland, competing for Team Xtra personel, took a podium place, third place with the time 02:21:58.3. We congratulate and wish continued success!
Next competition in the seven races long contest ”Ski Classics” will be Marcialonga in Italy on 29th January.
Melkesyrefabrikken 2011-11-25
Autumn 2011 Melkersyrefabrikken had its opening in Norway. Melkersyrefabrikken is the first centre that is specifically targeted to exercisers. Jörgen Aukland and his brother Anders has been involved developing the business from start.
Melkersyrefabrikken is targeting both companies and individuals and its goal is to guide people into the right directions to acomplice their goals. To do that they combine training guidance, products, motivation and better health.
With an increased focus on health, cycling, running and other fitness sports has grown. Melkersyrefabrikken is just as swedemount an answer to this. The both of us are helping our costumers having an active lifestyle and reaching their individual goals.
Mixed training for the Olympics 2014 2011-07-15
For the Olympics 2014 in Sochi Jörgen alternate different exercises such as paddling, running, biking, roller skiing and fitness training. Jörgen switches to Atomic 2011-07-15
Jörgen has switched to Atomic skis during the year. He looks forward to get the maximum performance out of the new material that is specially adapted for long-distance races.
Marcialonga 2012-01-19
Marcialonga in Italy will take place on January 29 and is part of Ski Classics 2012. The race is 70 km long in a classic style and ends with a 3 km long uphill climb, let the strongest man win! Otherwise, the race runs through many small picturesque villages where it is placed artificial snow. This year, Marcialonga (the long march) is even more exciting when Petter Northug is going. My goal is clearly to win Marcialonga!

With mind set on the Olympics 2014 2011-07-15
The Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014 is the long-term goal for Jörgen’s training. He invests heavily in order to participate in the Norwegian national team and will primarily focus on the distance 50 km.
